Yum Balam building is located in Punta Cocos, the most quiet part of the Island. Our location is perfect to enjoy the magic of the island in a more peaceful atmoshphere away from the hustle and tourism at the island center.

Enjoy the ocean view and the most amazing sunsets straight from both bedrooms and an almost private turquoise shallow water beach which is just steps away from the apartment.

Starlink wifi up to 50 megas, connectivity won´t be an issue here!

The space

2 bedroom apartment ideal for families, couples or group of friends who want to have a lovely vacation connecting with nature.

Both bedrooms have ocean view. Master bedroom with king size bed, second bedroom with a kangaroo bed double size bed and a twin size bed and sofa bed in living room. 2 full bathrooms, smart TV in living room, washer and dryer inside the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen for you to cook your own meals if you feel like enjoying the down time and staying in.

This apartment is ideal for a relaxing vacation and for guests who want to connect with nature, enjoy the sound of birds and contemplate the beautiful sunsets. The perfect setting for an amazing getaway.

We are meters away from the main touristic spot to watch bioluminescence this magical phenomenom at night, but you can aslo watch it from the beach in front of us, specially during new moon.

Guest access

You will have access to the common shared area and the pool.

Pool hours: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

Other things to note

* We want to make sure you have a good rest so that´s why we have quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. We ask all our guests to respect this rule as Yum Balam is meant to be felt like a retreat vacation.

* Our concierge team is always available to help you schedule private transportation from and to the airport, tours, massages, utv, golfcart or bike rental, etc.

* In up to 3 nights we include all electricity consumption. In stays over 4 nights we include 15 kwh of electricity consumption per day. In case guests consume more, they should pay the difference; price per kwh is $4.50 mxn. A/C is power saving type. (if the difference to pay is less than $100 mxn, it won´t be charged)

* We fumigate monthly but please understand we are located amongst nature so mosquitoes, ants and some other insects are common.

* It´s important to mention that Holbox has power outages from time to time that may be affected by storms or the power company. The power company is working to stop these issues.

* We highly recommend traveling with cash.

*We provide a jar of drinking water as a courtesy. We also have 20 L water bottles for sale $60 mxn, please request them to you host if you´d like to have it for your arrival.
